Managing Big Behaviors in Small Children

About the Workshop

On November 3, I will lead a 90-minute workshop where we will look at some difficult behaviors children present in preschool. Looking through the lens that all behavior is communication, we can explore the messages and needs behind the behavior. This can point us in the right direction for helping the child. Sometimes, that means adjusting the environment for the child. Sometimes, that means helping the child acquire the skills needed for healthier, more pro-social behavior.

About Me

I have been providing mental health service to children and families in the Bay Area of over 20 years. Prior to that, I taught preschool 15+ years. In addition to providing group, family and individual play therapy through my private practice, I enjoy teaching others what I know through trainings and consultation.
